We recently submitted a few of our wines to JebDunnuck.com for review. Our results for our 2021 Violet Vines Pinot Noir Origin Block and our 2021 Violet Vines Eola Springs Vineyard Chardonnay are below.
2021 Violet Vines Pinot Noir Origin Block, 91 pts.
Pouring a dark, youthful red, the 2021 Pinot Noir Origin Block is fleshy and full-bodied, with forward notes of toasted cedar, scorched earth, mocha, and spiced red plum. The palate fills with meaty red cherry, sweet tannins, a coating mouthfeel, and attractive floral notes on the finish. It’s an opulent and luxurious red to drink over the next 5-7 years.

2021 Violet Vines Eola Springs Vineyard Chardonnay, 90 pts.
The bright yellow 2021 Eola Springs Vineyard Chardonnay is lifted with ripe aromas of tarragon, golden pineapple, and salted orange. Full-bodied, with loads of fresh fruit filling the palate with notes of honeyed citrus, it has a supple viscous mouthfeel and is a luxurious, well-made wine to enjoy over the next few years.

As noted on JebDunnuck.com “The scoring system I use is roughly based on the High School Grading System most US students grew up with, beginning at 50 points and ending at 100 points. My scale can be broken up as follows:
100 to 96 – As good as it gets. These wines reach the peak of my personal scale of quality.
95 to 90 – Outstanding wines. These wines are outstanding for their type and are worth the extra effort to seeking out.”
