Could it be that we are what we drink?  Some believe that our choice of wine is directly linked to our personality traits.  Find out if your human characteristics reflect one (or some) of these wine varietals below!

• Bold and Confident – A rich, full-bodied Napa Cabernet Sauvignon with high tannins and a commanding presence.  You are strong, brave, fearless in your convictions and decisive in your actions.
• Elegant and Graceful – A light-bodied, refined Willamette Valley Pinot Noir with delicate floral and red fruit notes, earthiness and a silky texture.  Composed and sophisticated, you are someone who doesn’t demand attention but leaves a lasting impression.  You are contemplative and expressive without being overpowering and appreciate a refined lifestyle.
• Lively and Playful – A zesty, high-acid Riesling, Albariño or Sparkling wine that dances on the palate.  You are adventurous, flirty, personable and demand attention.
• Mysterious and Brooding – A deep, dark Northern Rhône or Rocks District Syrah with smoky, meaty, and peppery undertones.  Like Syrah, you are not well understood but are incredibly intriguing once someone gets to know you.
• Structured and Stylish – An Oregon Chardonnay with a cool climate finesse and a mineral driven finish.  Made with captivating precision, it is rooted in tradition but with a fresh, modern perspective with quiet confidence. You are exquisite yet grounded and reveal many layers.
• Stoic and Reserved – A structured Bordeaux blend that takes time to open up and reveal its depth.  You are quiet, introspective and complex in character.  When pushed, you are unapologetically stubborn and stand by your beliefs. You are traditional, reject fads and think with a long-term perspective.
• Sharp and Sassy – A high-toned, fruit driven California Zinfandel with zesty spice.  You are direct and to the point, a no-nonsense type of person.  This wine is upfront with little subtlety.  As a Zinfandel lover you’re probably the type who cuts to the chase while seeking solutions to everyday issues.
• Soft and Laid Back – A medium-bodied easy drinking and supple Napa Merlot. Reflective and laid-back, you usually get along with everybody and need little in the way of fanfare to fit in.
• Lush and Soulful – A full-bodied, enticing Argentinian Malbec with fruit driven flavors and no rough edges.  You are deep, alluring and emotionally stable with a warm, agreeable demeanor.
• Tart and Exotic – A New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc that has tart tropical fruit and sharp green-grass notes with bracing acidity.  With no pretension, you are unique and upfront with a quick wit and a brash, yet interesting personality.

As for me, I most definitely match my wine preference! The “Elegant and Graceful” Pinot noir from the Willamette Valley.  It’s not a secret that Oregon Pinot noir has always been my passion, and it is what launched our brand in every aspect.  Knowing that my personality reflects my passion is absolutely gratifying and makes me smile! 💜🍇
