Violet Vines’ Tasting Room is Dog Friendly

January 17, 2025

When it comes to enjoying wine country, there’s something truly special about bringing along your furry friend. At Violet Vines’ tasting room in Carlton, Oregon, we believe that wine tasting should be an experience for the whole family – including your four-legged companions! Our tasting room is not only a haven for wine lovers but also a welcoming space for well-behaved and leashed dogs.

From the moment you arrive, your pup will be greeted with open arms (and possibly by a four-legged greeter named Hank).  The vibe is inviting with cement flooring throughout and cozy surroundings of a natural wood plank and original brick walls. We provide dog bowls with fresh water and a selection of treats so your canine companion can feel just as pampered as you. Whether you’re savoring our signature Pinot Noir or indulging in a Chardonnay or Syrah, you can do so knowing your furry friend is part of the fun. Don’t be surprised if our staff sneaks in a little belly rub or a picture of your pup—we’re all dog lovers here!

Violet Vines isn’t the only dog-friendly spot in Carlton. The town is brimming with wineries and tasting rooms that embrace your canine companions. When I asked Hank’s owner Brit for her favorite dog-friendly tasting rooms nearby, she mentioned:

  • K&M Wines
  • Kings North
  • Craft
  • Domino IV
  • Ghost Hill
  • Tendril

At Violet Vines, we’re proud to be part of a community that values the bond between people and pets. So next time you’re planning a trip to Oregon’s wine country, don’t leave your dog behind. Bring them along for a tail-wagging good time at Violet Vines and our fellow dog-friendly tasting rooms. We can’t wait to raise a glass with you—and maybe even share a treat or two with your pup!
