How to Make Wine

No topic garners more interest than the process to produce wine following harvest.
At Violet Vines, in both of the American Viticultural Areas (Ava’s) where we grow grapes – that being the McMinnville AVA and the Rocks District in the Milton-Freewater AVA – we typically harvest in the first half of October each year.
The next six weeks are absolutely insane! A combination of hard work, biology, and sanitization!
